Cheap, disappointing

Tried to replace a broken antenna and saw this. It was the same size as my old one, so I didn't have to change the holes in the fiberglass to install it, which pleased me a lot. I read the bad reviews but decided to buy anyway. Well assembled, looked good (although cheap plastic and chrome) but reception was pathetic. Went to the lake and got nothing but rushing noise or channels going and going. My old antenna broke off at the base so I replaced it with a screw to bypass it and the reception was better than this thing. A person is better off using an old antenna hanger than this job!

this a piece of junk.. no instructions and only looks like an antenna.. what a scam..
