Review on 🌡️ As-Cast Aluminum Inline Coolant Hose Drain - PRW 5292202 by Matthew Goyette

I have used similar products from many different manufacturers including a comparatively cheap Moroso and one from CSR which is over three times the price of this one. I chose this product based on the price and availability of Revain Prime. The neck is so low that the cap almost touches the hose, making it a bit more difficult to put on and remove the cap than others. It also has some flow restriction where the base of the neck protrudes into the pipe. The threaded overflow connection is a useful feature to allow the outlet to be directed in any direction, but the need for an additional fitting is impractical and negates the low cost. The one I received is either raw cast or sandblasted, not semi-polished as pictured. It also has rough sanding marks where the casting lines on top have been removed but the casting lines on bottom are intact. I'm giving that three stars because it works, but the Moroso and even the cheap Chinese nameless ones I've used are better quality for essentially the same price, and they're functionally superior.
