Review on CHINLY 93 LEDs 6 Ring WS2812B WS2812 5050 RGB LED Ring Lamp: Individually Addressable Full Dream Color Light - DC5V by John Butler

Lots of cables but works fine

I'm trying to use LED light rings to create a chroma key (ie green screen) project. Therefore, I only need a monochrome light source. I also removed the middle 9 LEDs so I have a hole for my camera. Although each LED is individually addressable, I programmed my controller so that each LED is the same color. The most consistent colors are red, green, blue and white as shown in the images. Note that white has a bluish tint even though all three colors have the same specified lightness. The LEDs work as advertised for me. The light is bright. In order to take the attached pictures, I had to turn the brightness down to about a tenth of the maximum brightness. I can only partially use one arm due to a disability, so the idea of buying things that come pre-soldered excites me. The rings worked fine under these conditions, but I wish the wire from the rings to my Arduino nano 33 ioT controller was longer. This wasn't a problem with the power cables, but the digital cable is clearly short. For my purposes it is very desirable to reduce the cable clutter behind the rings. Keep this in mind before you buy rings. That and the short lead are my only real problems that I think I can work around. Otherwise it works very well for me.
