Review on Zelite Infinity Alpha-Royal Series 6 Inch Utility Knife: πŸ”ͺ Japanese AUS-10 Super Steel, 67-Layer Damascus, Razor Sharp, Exceptional Edge Retention by Dana Manning

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Sharp, attractive and well balanced, easy to use.

I can't say how long the blade will last, but it has become my go-to knife for most slicing and grating jobs in the kitchen. I don't put it in the dishwasher, hoping it stays sharp a little longer. The other day I noticed a hint of rust on the blade near the hilt but it seems to have gone. The knife is long enough and well balanced to replace almost a kitchen knife, and the comfortable handle allows it to be used for cleaning when needed. The blade is very shiny and cut veggies don't stick to it as much as my other knives, although it does need to be encouraged to fall off. So if you only have room for one good knife in your collection, this is a good place to start. If you can handle a lot, grab a chef's knife and a paring knife. I hand wash it to keep the edge. The only downside I've found so far is that the flashy logo on the blade keeps tricking my fingers into thinking something is stuck to the knife, and I then (carefully) wash it longer than necessary. .
