I have a Chiahua what more can I say about the barking. The good thing about my little girl is that she doesn't bark at noise or even the doorbell, she really only barks when she's excited, which is often. I can't touch the leash without her flying off the couch and barking so loud her little feet bounce off the floor. It's sweet for the first ten seconds, then just stinging. I've tried several other bark collars for them but they were generally too big so I sent them back but this size is fine. She only weighs about five pounds so I'll still look for a smaller one, but this one works well and isn't too big for her. It was easy to set up and, most importantly for me, easy to make sure the damper was off. There's no need to shock them as a simple beep will silence them instantly. It's good that the beep doesn't dampen their enthusiasm, it just calms them down. If this company releases a smaller version, I'm in!
