This is not just a KVM switch. It takes over the network connection and only allows one of the connected computers to connect at a time. It would be better to just put each connected computer on a separate ethernet port. The need to install software is also problematic when you're trying to use it in a work-from-home scenario, and the company you work for restricts the installation of software that isn't in the company's catalogue is. It doesn't look like the features are really thought through.
