Review on Magical 100Ft Fairy Lights: Waterproof Firefly Lights on Copper Wire for Indoor/Outdoor Decoration - UL Adaptor Included, Warm White by Anna Barnett

Very beautiful appearance, but easy to break, but also easy to repair.

I really like these lights - beautiful and warm colors, they are useful for all kinds of projects and use very little power. But you should be aware - installing them without tangling the wire is a tricky task - work slowly and be very careful to unwind the wire during installation - more than you think you need - it's very easy , to get Tumbleweed out of the wire immediately. The wire breaks easily - extreme tenderness and care is required. - The break is easy to fix though - if you break the wire you can use a candle or lighter to burn/melt the copper colored insulation to get at the (what I suspect) aluminum wire underneath - it's blunt Silver. I used a stick lighter. You can then twist the broken ends together and apply whatever you want to re-insulate - silicone, clear glue etc - it's just 12vdc just like landscape lighting with some power. I bought them for the street. Christmas lights with the intention of leaving them on all year round - when off the garland is almost invisible and no one will notice you haven't turned on the semi-permanent lights. I just installed with a hand tacker. The effect is far greater than incandescent bulbs, which can point in any direction.
