Overpriced Lighter Case

At almost $20 this is an unreasonable purchase to keep a lighter dry. Beak is one of several Firestart Reserves that are so cool to have. However, I feel that the marketing and price of this item is being taken advantage of a bit. This is a silicone case and hard plastic cap specially designed for the classic bic. This is to keep your lighter dry when you need it. I knew this was happening and ignored the price, hoping the benefit would be worth it. The "function" that supposedly keeps the throttle on the lighter doesn't work. It immediately slips off with significant tension. If I have to soak that thing in alcohol or whatever to make it work. I feel like it should have been done before it was boxed at this price point. Closing the lid and case doesn't seem to be very well thought out. There's no snap/lock mechanism to hold it in place, just a couple of raised silicone ribs on the case that use friction to hold it in place. While this can work in most cases, I used paracord to tie them together. Again how much does it cost? Another point that would make the price more bearable. I am not sure where it is actually made. Mobile phone cases use twice as much material for half the price and are more intricately shaped. You must milk the camping/hiking/care community as I cannot justify the price I paid for the product received. Kit that should do better.
