I hope this one lasts longer than the first set.
Bought the same set in June 2019 - love the way they work, look, feel, everything. The plastic parts of the connector are brittle and VERY easy to break. If even a tiny piece breaks, you won't be able to connect the shaker part to the loading/grinding mechanism and it will become a doorstop. A VERY expensive $100 piece of plastic renders the whole set useless. I love the Cuisinart brand but if it breaks again I will NEVER buy another Cuisinart product. Not worth the cost. I understand why they don't offer an additional guarantee.
