One of the shakers is actually broken. Got it in February and unfortunately didn't notice until yesterday. It was supposed to be new but looked used. Very disappointed

We got a replacement from Revain and this time the base didn't weigh on any of the helicopters. I did everything I could to troubleshoot and tried a few sockets that were known to be good. It's easy to check the quality of the goods before shipment. Again, avoid Cuisinart. I am returning this replacement for a refund and to purchase a different model.

I returned this item from Revain because it was broken but I later bought another from Bed Bath & Beyond. I really like it because it grinds sea salt a lot easier and it even has a backlight so you can see where the salt is going. The button on the front makes it easy to hold the grinder and then hit it with your thumb. And the base detaches for easy filling with your choice of salt or spices. I think I'll buy another one for red and white peppercorns.

Bought the same set in June 2019 - love the way they work, look, feel, everything. The plastic parts of the connector are brittle and VERY easy to break. If even a tiny piece breaks, you won't be able to connect the shaker part to the loading/grinding mechanism and it will become a doorstop. A VERY expensive $100 piece of plastic renders the whole set useless. I love the Cuisinart brand but if it breaks again I will NEVER buy another Cuisinart product. Not worth the cost. I purchased this item excited to finally have a mechanical coffee grinder. It arrived and worked great, then after 2 weeks it stopped charging one of the grinders. I have contacted the manufacturer as part of the 3 year warranty that came in the box to let them know the product has been discontinued and they are out of spares and I need to contact the seller to replace a grinder , but after two weeks I got rid of the box and it worked initially.
