This mount is designed so that the fork eyes support the mount. The problem is that the mount is too thick. This will prevent the plug from being securely inserted into the connector. I think it would be nice if you never touched it and put it where you can't touch or move it. I highly recommend getting a bracket with a large hole that the entire power adapter goes through instead, unless you want to be constantly checking that it's plugged in because it's not secure in the socket.
