Works but doesn't hold up well. Since there is a thin piece of plastic between the socket and the plug, it doesn't reach all the way to the stop. If you press lightly on the top, it falls right out of the socket. Luckily, ours is behind our sofa, so no one, human or pet, will touch it. It's better than attaching a foot-length cable to it.

This wall mount keeps the Blink modem out of sight! Initially, I tried using the white Apple-type adapter. However, it's not narrow enough to fit flush at the bottom. So I used the original adapter that came with the Blink system and just removed the long cable. My Blink adapter fitted perfectly into the base and popped the pins out on the back just enough to be plugged in.

Easy to use, makes everything much tidier and takes up less space. I personally don't think it's reliable enough, especially when I need to restart the underlying sync engine system. I have to remove the base system from the bracket and press the reset button with a paper clip. For this reason, a hole must be made on the bracket. Other than that, it's a nice feature.

Unlike some other versions of this product which have a large rectangular hole for a socket, this model has a plastic panel on the back with two pin holes. Unfortunately, the plate creates enough separation that the plug doesn't fit far enough into some sockets to make a solid connection. We were able to get it to work with the wall adapter, but it didn't work with our standard wall outlets. Will probably send it back.

Back in October 2020 when I ordered the Blink security system, this little adapter mount wasn't even recommended as an accessory. To be honest I think this pedestal mount should be included when purchasing a Blink system. A system receiver is so small and light that it needs something like this to keep it stable and in a fixed position. Perfect for our situation. I recommend this adapter to anyone with a flashing system.

Bought a second sync module so I can separate inside and out. I had to remove and reinstall the indoor cameras. It was easier to film than external cameras. It took about two minutes to connect the new synchronization module and the other four internal cameras were removed and reinstalled in less than 30 minutes. When I first installed outdoor cameras, I was made aware of traffic on my back porch. I turned on the video and saw the male cardinal looking at me! It captures more than birds like…

This mount is designed so that the fork eyes support the mount. The problem is that the mount is too thick. This will prevent the plug from being securely inserted into the connector. I think it would be nice if you never touched it and put it where you can't touch or move it. I highly recommend getting a bracket with a large hole that the entire power adapter goes through instead, unless you want to be constantly checking that it's plugged in because it's not secure in the socket.

Will never buy Blink products again. Be sure to read between the lines with this company. They are complicated in the details of the cameras and everything you need to make them work. This wall mount is no good as the cameras don't work without a subscription. It was set up so that when the trial period ended the return window would close and we now have this wall mount for our useless cameras. Haven't used it long enough to know if we like it or not.
