Review on Step2 545200 MailMaster Plus Mailbox in Stone Gray - Enhanced Search-Engine Optimization by Ricky Pee

I had a Step 2 mailbox for many years, but after about 20 years the magnets rusted and the door broke. Despite the age I really liked the box and was happy to find what I thought the box was. I ordered box #545200 thinking it had the same internal capacity. The outside size was the same but there couldn't be a 9x12 envelope inside unless it was a folder destroying photos or other items that SHOULD NOT be folded. It also wouldn't fit in the smaller boxes I often get. There was no visible indication of a reduced interior size in the product information. I am very disappointed with the lower internal capacity. Why would a company create a smaller internal mailbox with the same bulky external size? Also, there is a horizontal seam at the bottom making it difficult to successfully insert mail without snagging. VERY BAD NEW DESIGN.
