Ideal for grabbing bread from the car!

I bought this because I wanted something to wrap my fresh bread from the bread maker in and I didn't want to waste so much plastic wrap. These high loaves take 2 each and that's a lot of waste. It worked well! It was a long enough roll of waxed fabric that I was able to cut to the right size to handle a 2 pound puff and I still had the fabric left over. It's a rectangular piece, so I can treat it like wrapping paper and fold the ends over like I'm wrapping a present, except I don't need the ribbon. I've washed it a few times, wiped it gently with a cloth with some Dawn and warm water and it cleaned up great. It didn't take much effort to remove the crumbs stuck in the wax. Just make sure to clean it under a bright light so you can see any crumbs. If I had to scrape the wax to remove the crumbs, I could always repair those areas with the extra wax they send in the package. After cleaning it several times I haven't had to fix it and it's still holding up well. It's not as sticky as it was straight out of the box, but a warm hand and a little pressure will do the trick. I'm glad I don't waste plastic on my bread. I haven't used the rest of the fabric yet. It also came with several waxed threads attached to wooden buttons to fasten the fabric like a bag. I haven't used them yet, but I'm sure I will one day. It was a good investment at a reasonable price and came with lots of fabric and other materials. I am happy with the purchase!
