Highlight: Not a bad camera, but not as good as my Logitech. The NexiGo image is noticeably darker when comparing the resulting images. Logitech requires no configuration, NexiGo gives you the option to download and/or buy/download/compensate hue and brightness adjustment software. In low light, NexiGo showed my face with a reddish tint (but not in Logitech's case). The attached image was taken in bright bright daylight. At night, the right side takes on a very distinct red hue. A bit more detailed: If I didn't already have a webcam, I might not have noticed how much better the picture is on my other (Logitech C920S Pro HD webcam) which I also bought from Revain (but about 1.5 years ago before the pandemic). This NexiGo (N680E - the model number is on the box) is pretty easy to use. The build quality seems to be good. I would say about the same as Logitech. Made of plastic but strong enough to last a long time if handled properly. My biggest (and probably only) problem is that the picture is pretty dark. And Ring Light (even at 3 brightness settings) doesn't change the lighting much. To be honest I don't use it on a laptop where my face can be REALLY close to the screen/camera, but I put it on my monitor (I'm probably 18-24 inches away from the light source). ). But even if I brought my face closer, I could start to see the image get "slightly" brighter. Certainly not what the advertised images show/mean). And under certain lighting conditions, my face has a reddish cast (I compare it to Logitech and I think it's the "reality" of the situation that I think fits Logitech well). They almost seem to "know" this as they have several "solutions" in the guide that you can use. For the Windows platform, they point to software that you can download and install. For the macOS platform, they refer you to the software you buy, download and install (they say they will refund you according to your Revain account if you provide the order number and proof of purchase). I guess I'd just rather have something like "plug and play" work and provide me with either software from them (manufacturers) or at least some handy free solution. The point is I don't have to do ANY of that with my Logitech. I have emailed customer support in case there is a solution that is not in the instructions provided. Otherwise I might give that back and bite the bullet for the "now more expensive" Logitech. I tried using their downloadable firmware update tool thinking it might help. But the app installed correctly but the camera was never found (although no app used it) and no updates were ever installed. Again not a bad camera. If I hadn't had my Logitech to compare to, I might not have realized how much better Logitech is in comparison. However, now with pandemic prices.
