This camera does the job. This is a big improvement over the laptop's built-in microphone and camera. The light is the weakest link and doesn't do much unless you're in a dark room, as you would expect from a device of this size. But the microphone is a pleasant surprise. I'm told it sounds great, louder and clearer than a PC. The protective case is a simple sticky piece of plastic. In general I am satisfied with the purchase.

I have used this camera for several meetings and presentations. it doesn't cover the sensor * Swivel head * Can be attached to a tripod, monitor or set up by yourself * Image quality - quick focus, sharp image, HD but white balance is not good (not bad enough for me to send it back) * Microphone works well.
