Factory tool is around $200. It might be a good deal but maybe a little wrong (too short), it's very heavy and thick. There is no way to bend by hand. However, to fix it, I use 2x4s of about the same length. Lay the tool on the ground with the pins facing up, slide the 2x4 tool, one end into the bend, the other end into the bend with the pins. and lightly hit the 2x4 a few times with a 5 or 10 pound sled. Repeat at the other end. It doesn't take much to fit. After that, you may need to straighten the ends in a vise. It took me all 2 minutes.
