Review on MAXXIS Bravo HP-M3 205/65 R16 95H summer by Dagmara Szewczuk ᠌

There are disadvantages, but the product is usable.

I have a 215/55R18 95H M+S AWD crossover. For a long time I chose something inexpensive in the standard size with a tread at least slightly different from a purely highway one. Sometimes I drive on primers, including wet ones, and I consider AT tires to be overkill. While I drove about 3000 km, I didn’t climb into the mud, primers, sand goes well. Small stones get stuck in the tread. Manageability, let's say, is normal - it seemed that it was slightly late in corners. I have not yet caught drift, slip in corners, but I feel some uncertainty, especially if the speed of entering a turn is higher than usual. ABS starts to chirp fast enough on wet and dry surfaces. I don’t drive much through puddles, hydroplaning, let’s say, is good, it’s also normal in a rut. Perhaps the low profile is to blame, but on poor "rough" asphalt it makes noise and transmits vibration to the cabin. As a result - inexpensive tires for a calm and accurate (distance) movement, including on dirt roads without fanaticism. For the pleasure of fast driving requires good asphalt. It's too early to talk about wear and tear. As for recommending - I'm not sure - to each his own. PS - I can only compare with the worn-out standard conti premium contact 2 - except for possibly subjective handling and ABS, this rubber is no worse, and in some places even better (tread pattern, passing joints)

Pros
  • Good value for money Silent on good smooth pavement Does not thump at joints, wells / manholes, passes gently Collar for disc protection
Cons
  • Harsh (low profile?) Noisy on medium quality and lower asphalt It seemed that the ABS kicked in too early.
