Review on 🔧 Briggs & Stratton 594601 Carb by Choice Maynard

For the last few years my 2011 Craftsman YT3000 (Husqvarna) has been bugging me. Difficult to start in cold weather. If it caught fire, it often died instantly. I changed the spark plug and filter, adjusted the valves, ground the magneto and magneto in the cap. It seemed to help a little, but last week I couldn't do anything to get it working again. I had a feeling it might get swamped on launch as it "grabs" and then quickly dies. If I adjust the throttle correctly, it sometimes starts. I did some more research on the internet and saw that everyone was complaining about the Nikki carb, so I figured it must be like that. I guess I was lucky to have lived there for a good seven or eight years. I ordered this one and it was a plug and play replacement. Came with a gasket and the fuel cut off solenoid connector fitted perfectly. I ordered a fuel shutoff valve as suggested by someone in the comments and put it in for the winter. After installation, the tractor started and works great! Success!
