AMAZING! Exactly what I needed. These suction cups are LOUD and easy to install. Installation took only 2 minutes - on both doors! Your time may vary depending on how far apart your doors are :) I bought these because I have an adventurous toddler with older siblings who often forget to close the door and we live on a very busy street. And while my 14 month old can't open the front door yet, he will soon enough. Three modes: off, call and alarm. There's no volume control and the alarm mode is about as loud as a fire alarm - you'll hear it anywhere in the house! It only rings twice and then you can leave the door open. The alarm setting will not turn off until the door is closed again. Two alarm clocks came with a 3M self-adhesive backing. Since I live in a 1906 house on the California coast, my doors are not flush. Please see the attached photos to see how far apart each alarm is - both still work great! I put an alarm on the top of the door so the kids couldn't reach it. Before installation, be sure to remove the plastic plug in the battery compartment.
