I was going to buy an expensive brand 14 cup food processor but I saw them on Prime Day and decided to take a chance. So glad I did! Since we've had it, I've used it to batter, mince, slice and grate and have been happy with everything I've made with it. I had no trouble setting it up, locking the base and lid in place, and selecting settings. The pulse feature is great for chopping to get just the right size. The on/off function works well and the pre-programmed settings are very useful. I think the one for smoothies can also be used to make soups and tomato sauce. It's easy to clean and I really like the suction cup feet that keep it in place while you work. In addition, the slicing and grating discs are held in a disc holder, making them easy to use, swap out and store. My old food processor always left a piece of whatever you chopped or grated. This one cuts or grates anything! I can't believe I was willing to pay twice as much for an expensive food processor when it did everything I needed.
