Review on Natural Wood Kitchen Cabinet Storage Cart with Single Drawer by Winsome by Eric Trask

I AM IMPRESSED WITH THE QUALITY AND EASY ASSEMBLY!

After a lot of research into size, colour, shape, properties and materials, I decided on the Winsome stroller. I received the device two days earlier than expected and the shipping box was in perfect condition. After carefully opening, extracting and inventorying the contents, I found that all I needed was a Phillips screwdriver as an Allen key was included. OK. So far, so good. Instructions followed, which admittedly left a lot to be desired, but the render drawings were more helpful. (NOTE: If you purchase this unit and decide to follow the drawings for assembly, please study each step of the drawings carefully before beginning each step of assembly. The drawings are very good and accurate, so follow them corresponding). The most impressive aspect of this pack was the material. It was solid wood. The parts were wrapped in a thin sheet of Styrofoam and sealed with tape to keep them from disintegrating. Admittedly, I haven't seen such depth of packaging in a long time to tell me that this company is taking steps to offer the customer a safe product. All parts were fastened with star screws, which were screwed in with an Allen key with a star head. In almost all cases, the screws were screwed in relatively quickly, sometimes it took a little longer due to the location in the device. However, this was NOT a problem. After reviewing each of the assembly drawings at least 3-5 times, each piece of wood was placed in its place without incident. A NOTICE. DO NOT fully tighten the bolts when assembling each segment. Gently tighten the key with a finger. This gives you some wiggle room when moving on to the next step of assembly and adjustment. Once I got all the parts together, I went back and tightened each bolt by pulling on the hex wrench with two fingers. With the block almost complete it was time to add the doors. Now that I've read other reviews I've been whining about bent hinges or hinges that don't fit the screw holes etc. Okay I was a bit concerned but thought everything was going well so far. And the doors have become the crowning glory 100% TOP! The door pins slide perfectly on the hinges and align perfectly with the magnetic catches when the door is closed. Everything is so good with the assembly that I forgot to mention one of its little things. One, not two or three, just ONE of the small Phillips head screws holding the doorknobs to the door didn't go all the way in. Grandfather's trick: I smeared some soap on the screw and it turned it all the way in. When assembly was complete I rolled the unit into the microwave room, stood the unit on top, locked the wheels and you were done. A. And another thing I really like about this unit is that the internal shelves are made of solid wood planks that are joined together to form a shelf. With this block you get two shelves. The top shelf is for small lids or pans, while the bottom shelf is for larger items that you don't use very often. Overall it took me about 1 1/2 hours to build (yes I took my time with this build) and the end results look better than the photo on the website. The biggest NO I can offer is this: DO NOT USE A DRILL OR POWER SCREWDRIVER when assembling. Using a power supply is not really necessary and it WILL DAMAGE or split the wood if you over tighten the screws. The Allen key provided is ideal for this job. I am very pleased (and so is my other half) with the looks and reliability of this car. It's WORTH the price. And I recommend it as a clear buy recommendation.
