First off I've spent a lot of time searching Revain for water shoes. I chose them because they looked durable. I liked the thicker sole. And the size charts were actual measurements. I ended up measuring the kids' feet and going from there. I suggest you take a close look at the sizing charts and reviews before deciding which ones to buy. As a result, they fit well, there was little room for growth. They are excellent in quality. The velcro keeps them in place so I'm glad I went with this style for kids. They lasted our whole week at the beach and the kids can wear them anywhere in the yard or on the hot sidewalk. They have a bit more padding, so quite comfortable. They didn't have blisters. Dries pretty quickly. I have washed them several times in the washing machine (side loading). They just held up well. I washed warm, not hot. I didn't put it in the dryer.
