I needed a small in-car USB stick that had a USB port for playing music. At least the price offered was decent because otherwise it would have been a waste of money. Using it as a USB drive to play music is fine as you won't be writing to it all the time. The machine reads from a flash drive, that's all. A small red light is built into the plastic that flashes when the USB stick is accessed. It's not bright enough to be uncomfortable, but bright enough to be seen unless used in direct sunlight. Read speeds are mediocre at best, but that's not an issue if you're just using it to play music. Write speeds are just terrible - so slow I thought my computer would only recognize it as a USB1.1 device. My first top up music download took hours to transfer 6GB of music. However, he scores with the fact that he is so small. It plugs into a slot in the car and is invisible. Plug it into your dashboard without fear of your clumsy friend tripping over it and breaking the USB connector when getting into the car! Slip it discreetly into your head unit and don't worry about making a long bar of laser light show out of your dashboard! Discreetly download 16GB of music onto a small flash drive that complements your decor and fits into tight spaces.
