Review on Splitter ZACCAS Aluminum Duplicate Monitors by Jason Dahlkemper

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A limited resolution screen limits another screen

This device did not work for my purposes. This lowers the output resolution, making the image much smaller. This happens both with direct wired transmission and when entering a Miracast dongle. None of this happens when I stream videos from my Android phones without output duplication so I'm not sure what this thing does in this scenario, but limits the experience by shrinking the image. Also, hate the proprietary power input that makes it imperative to power the device with the short cable that comes with it. Update 1 (from 2 to 4 stars): I increased the rating, because I was able to work around the problem in several ways. 1. Casting with Chromecast is in full screen mode. However, there are limitations as this method doesn't allow you to use your phone's speakers as a sound source and every app supports it and it turns off your phone's screen by turning it off as a second screen when needed. For example, you cannot stream IG live, for example during a workout. This is where standard Miracast transmission comes in.2. I was able to stream wired full screen (from USB-C to HDMI) in the 16:9 aspect ratio that BlackBerry phones offer natively. I haven't been able to do this with any other phone and there is one instance where using my Microsoft Miracast dongle fails to cast in full screen. I have not tried other Miracast adapters. Update 2 (4 to 5 stars): I get it
