It is a cork board, doesn't have to be perfect.
When I received the metal around the board was bent from shipping. If you get a wood one it will have less chance to bend. The metal is thin so it happens. The other issue was when I went to install. At each corner there is a screw whole. One of the four was installed backwards so I had to disassemble the board (only one corner) then re-install. If you are not handy, could be an issue.Last, it comes with sinkers for drywall. Do not use, it is junk. You should go to the hardware store and get something that can support the weight otherwise it will come off your wall.
