Works very well after installation.
I installed two of these units in my home as a DIYer. We both need to replace the existing old valve systems in the old house. It's not an easy task, but if you have the soldering and repair skills, as well as the time and patience, the result is worth it. Hire someone to do the work if you're not comfortable with it. Installation in new builds will be very easy and hassle-free compared to retrofits. I wanted these valve covers to be convertible to Delta Tempasure fittings and cartridges to solve water pressure and temperature control issues. Mission accomplished.
