The digital camera may have conquered the world of photography, but the classic Polaroid camera still holds its own. We bought this camera for a scout event. We had a registration night and the kids made picture frames. We took Polaroids of the kids and sent them home with their framed photos taken on their first night with the Boy Scouts. We could use a digital camera with a printer, but that would be more cumbersome. You still can't beat the instant camera for things like this. I wouldn't use it on my only camera, but it's good for those special situations where you need to print a hard copy right away.
