I love wood carving and carving, I was excited to receive my new tools. Upon opening the package I had to check the sharpness of the blades. One blade in a set of 6 was sharp enough to use immediately, the remaining blades took anywhere from half an hour to nearly 2 hours to become sharp enough to use. One of the blades does not have a suitable sharpening stone. A very sad day for this bunch of instruments. I strongly recommend Ramelson to organize quality control to ensure that no blade leaves the factory without inspection. If it is not ready to use when delivered, should the company replace the kit or blade for free in my opinion. It's very frustrating when you wait
