Worked great! I'll admit the assembly instructions were a bit confusing, but I was able to put this together with no problems. I got this for my lab mix who will soon be ten years old. I recently went on an expedition and started resetting it but it couldn't jump in the back. It's too high for her old ass. She hopped on her front paws and I had to pick her up the rest of the way. It's not always fun when her tummy is dirty. With it I just go down the stairs quickly and she can easily run up behind them. It doesn't touch my tailgate so I leave it in the hitch all the time. It's quite heavy, so I don't want to keep taking it off and putting it back on. I used to drive an F-150 that had a tailgate step, so I sometimes use it as a tailgate step to get to the back of my expedition. The weight limit is 200 pounds, so a big guy couldn't pull it off. All in all, this thing saved my back and my old dog!
