When researching this brush, I found that the conditions work because they contain some form of wax or oil along with all the other ingredients. This brush, as they say, "removes intermediaries". He uses what he calls his "botanical beauty bar" to literally add volume to your hair. The bar contains coconut oil, wax base and fragrance. It fits in a compartment under the brush head. This is really awesome design. My wife was hesitant to try the Stunning Volume Styler at first, but after some convincing she gave in. Her first attempt failed... her hair was just covered in oil. But this is one of those situations that requires "reading the instructions". One thing she did, the results were much better. The secret, she discovered, is to start at the top of your head and work your way down. noted. Well I honestly don't know how long my wife will be using the Stunning Volume Styler. I mean it seems to be working. But it also seems like it's a lot more trouble than it's worth. I think if you have a lot of free time you are great.
