MacBook Air M1 perfect widescreen

At the beginning of the pandemic and while working from home, I got two $100 Acer R240HY screens for my MacBook Pro. They worked well, but the screen resolution wasn't amazing, especially for reading and writing spreadsheets or text. But big screens made the job easier. Then I switched to a MacBook Air M1. And discovered to my dismay that it only supports 1 external monitor! After 3 months, a bad Acer R240HY was enough for me. I spent a few days researching monitor options and settled on widescreen, which essentially gives the MacBook room or 3 external monitors. I can't believe nobody is recommending this as an option for the M1! Widescreen is a game changer. I have applications running on 3 screens at the same time. Screen resolution is excellent (but not retina). Very easy to set up via USB C. There are no speakers on the display. So if you're using it in a clamshell, you'll need external speakers or headphones (I don't use a clamshell, but I do use AirPods). . I cannot recommend this monitor enough, it has transformed my home office!
