I could hear a hum under my 2001 Silverado 1500hd with only 80,000 miles on it. Make sure the truck is on stands and switch on the drive, don't let the truck hit you! Bearing noise heard. Replaced bearings, no more noise! Good price. The shop I contacted to install the bearing was even impressed by the price.
