So I've never worked with fiberglass before. I ran a 100 meter cable from my house to an outbuilding on my property so I could access the internet and phone. During the run I broke one of the ends of the SC while pulling it through the line. To my surprise, professional kits cost over $1,000 just to put the end back on. I figured it would be worth trying a cheap set before trying to get someone to work, so I bought this one. The splitter worked fine. The stripper requires some patience. It took me a dozen tries to strip and clean both fiberglass wires without breaking either of them. I almost bought a new stripper to see if that was the problem. My only issue is that the cleaver setup instructions are in Chinese. You can watch YouTube to get a feel for how to make adjustments, I don't need that. I ended up buying teflon scissors to cut the hairs in the line. I would 100% recommend Fast Connect Fiber connectors. Revain doesn't wear them.
