Review on AcuRite 01184M Gray Digital Meat Thermometer with Timed Cooking Indicator by Emily Oakes

First, let me say that I've had several AcuRite thermometers and their temperature sensors are the only ones I've found that consistently handle cooking temperatures in excess of 500 degrees Fahrenheit. I bought this device in January and worked for about 2 months, then the display failed. I contacted AcuRite customer service in March and Chris sent me a new unit. Now, 2 months later, the replacement device has failed. Sheri from customer service didn't respond properly. Let's see if I get the 3rd device in time and if this one lasts. I'm not holding my breath. I would look elsewhere for a good thermometer.
