I ordered 1 circuit breaker to test, timing seems right. It's an old fashioned circuit breaker, no electronics. My test results: current/trip time 55A - 14 seconds 41A - 27 seconds 36A - 46 seconds 30A - 119 seconds 25A - 1076 seconds seems reasonable for a 20A circuit breaker at 20A with a trip time tolerance On the plot of operating time versus current being an infinite number of seconds, the circuit breaker current rating is where the vertical asymptote on the x-axis falls. Based on this data I will order more of these switches. Update: Ordered 4 more of these 20 amp circuit breakers. The circuit breakers tested trip time at 36 amps, three took about 50-60 seconds and one took about 75 seconds to trip, but they started at a lower temperature than last time. Very reasonable behavior and repeatability. Please note they are made in China but seem to work fine for my application I would recommend.
