I spent about five or six hammocks on my 90 pound golden retriever. They all claim to be the best but none of them offered a hammock as well as a 60/40 solution. For many years and prior to this purchase I have always had hammocks that had no separation at all except for the front of the hammock closest to the center armrest. My solution was to flip it over so I essentially had a 50/50 split on the second row bench seats, allowing me to fold my "40” seat down while keeping my "60” seat up. My pup comes out of the hatch, goes through 40 and waits for me to put 40 back up. It was tight, but it allowed me to get the job done. The biggest issue is that it wasn't stable at all, with the seat mounts essentially dangling on the floor in front of the bench seats, so it had a tendency to slip even with the rubber grip underneath. Enter this product. It really is the perfect solution. Since it's supposedly waterproof and allows 60/40 splits, it can essentially be left installed at all times and it covers everything I needed to cover up while being safely stored with the hammock. Also, it doesn't slide because the seat mounts are where they're supposed to be. I'm honestly not quite sure what the velcro straps for hanging in front of the benches are for, but they still work great. except one. my part. If you have second-row headrests that tilt forward at the top, you might find yourself in the situation I'm in where the back seat doesn't necessarily fall all the way down just because there's a hammock. Another small thing is that I have a 50-inch bench that's about 54 inches tall, which creates a bit of pressure between the rear headrests, but that's tolerable. Not bad for a "two sizes fits most" scenario. In any case, this is a fantastic product, even at a great price. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a hammock but also needs a 60/40 split.
