Sprained and fractured ankle and ordered and tried several braces while transitioning from a cast. In the end I kept this one. I don't think it actually offers any support but it is actually good for my ankle and allows me to wear some shoes and boots that have previously pinched on some sensitive areas. I'm giving it 3 stars as I don't think it's really a 'lift' - there's nothing to prevent a new sprain nor does it offer 'support' but the silicone feels good and fits well. Also, none of the ankle braces I ordered provided fixation or support and I have sent them back.
