Easy and pleasant to walk on. The cord's strength was accidentally tested when our dogs repeatedly trampled on it during our Saturday car ride. I wouldn't recommend testing it yourself to this extent, but know that it will most likely pass the test, as it did for me. Update: Still going strong a year later. Connected to a 3.5mm 1/8 inch 4 pin AUX stereo audio headphone adapter cable to reduce connector wear and tear. Cheaper to replace the adapter.
