My first aquarium got a huge dent. I pushed the dent back out but there was a large crack in the plastic. I contacted Amazon via chat. On the grounds that the aquarium was unsuitable, they quickly replied that they would send a replacement immediately. It was so helpful because we are going on vacation soon. Great customer service! The product appears to be made for children and I believe it will hold up well. This is the perfect size for a couple of small fish, a couple of frogs, or a couple of fireflies. I have two boys so I'm sure this will be a hit on their adventures this summer. I saw the comments about the lid. The lid opens and closes flawlessly for me.
