Metal. Looks good. screw on. No drilling. Loctite.
Updated my review. After he's on he looks really great! The corner sticks out a bit. Simply because it is not bent. But more than a foot away, you can't tell. I used Loctite on the emblem's threaded rods and also on the screws when tightening. No drilling. If you use the outer holes it should go straight through the grate.
