I bought a motorized/heated mirror and couldn't find any installation help on YouTube. There is a video on YouTube about replacing the side mirror without wires. Here's what I found out. Open the new mirror box and look at the cable so you can identify it. First remove the door panel. There are plenty of door panel removal guides on YouTube - no special tools or skills are required and it takes about ten minutes. Disconnect the cable from the old mirror in the door. Tie a string or other piece of wire to the end you just untied. Once you've removed the old mirror, thread the cord through the door panel and out. Use the rope to thread the wire from the new mirror back through the door. Install a new mirror, connect the cable and replace the door panel.
