After trying a few different pet fences, this one was definitely a winner. We've tried metal, stretchy elastic mesh, and hard mesh. We have them on two cars, a 2017 F-150 and a 2020 Highlander. The only problem with installation is finding a good spot for the hooks in the bottom corners. Nothing fancy under the seats, they would be solid and spaced out to hold the corner so smart dogs couldn't get underneath. The solution is to wrap around the base of the seat and hook into it. The top simply snaps around the headrest pillars. I love how clean and unobtrusive the web is. It's easy to see, and the thin black stripe across the top doesn't interfere with the view from the back seat or the view of the puppies from the front windows. Rear seat passengers can feel the air or adjust the controls even when covered by the mesh. The mesh does not stretch but is wide and high enough for most vehicles and very strong.
