Before buying I read ALL the reviews on this product and I ordered based on these two. Challenge, but once it was in my hands I understood it perfectly. I'm posting a picture of the lid because I think it's hard to imagine not being able to see it. It's all there, pressurized and working great. A MUST for my purposes! We buy fresh milk that needs to be shaken before pouring because the cream separates from the milk. However, this is NOT a clear case. The lid must be removed for pouring. The second is a pen. The handle is close to the body of the jug but not too close to make pouring easier and I unfortunately have fat fingers so don't worry about the handle. Finally, the size and shape of the jug make it easy to install. in the refrigirator. Because it's a jar that I can sanitize in the dishwasher and because it has a secure lid that allows for vigorous shaking, it's the perfect fresh milk jug. Half a gallon (64 oz) is perfect and can be easily shaken and poured by even the youngest member of our household, our 9 year old daughter. It was a VERY good buy.
