Review on 🔧 6.5 oz High-Performance Hy-Poxy Alumbond Aluminum Putty Repair Kit by Cory Jacobson

This aluminum adhesive works exactly as described. Two portions were weighed (in grams) on an electronic scale, stirred with a popsicle stick for the indicated 3 minutes, and then used for a 60 minute cook time. My application was a bit fiddly due to the slightly runny consistency after 3 minutes of stirring as I have used it to fill holes drilled in the vertical parts of aluminum gates. I could have waited until the end of the 60 minute usage time but wasn't sure how fast it would set at that point so after the 4-5 hour setting time I decided to just go back and make big holes per second of dressing . Seems VERY strong. Not sanded, the product is smooth, shiny and medium grey. Easily sanded with a sanding disc on an angle grinder and even by hand with sandpaper. I used 12g of each part the first time, 9g for the last layer, so I have half a tube left over for other projects. I am very happy with this product and would buy it again if needed.
