Sharkbite is the only way

Sharkbite is your best choice. I've never dealt with plumbing in my life and I've run new water lines from our water mains through the whole house with their PEX and these fittings (also crimped in places) more than 3 years ago and not a single leak. It's easy to use and holds up great.
