The replacement media is not as thick as the original Dyson filter. The main problem is that dust no longer gets into the filter, which causes the dust to get into the Dyson motor. I carefully compared the filter material. The plastic inner part and the rubber seal make a good and durable impression. I am seriously considering returning this but am unsure if a better replacement can be found without purchasing genuine Dyson parts. This Anicell filter replacement kit is great value but I don't want to risk damaging my expensive V8 engine!
