I'm in between pedicures at the moment (you know) so I wanted to try this out to see if I could just do my own pedicure now, and actually it worked better than i thought! (Better than what I bought at Ulta). The instructions say to clean and wait 5-6 minutes. So I just put a finger on it to see if I can tell how much it actually took off. I'd say it got a little warmer, not hotter, but if you're the type of guy who lets your kids use gel polish then maybe explain it to your kid first as it may seem weird at first. After waiting about 5 minutes, I wiped it off with a cotton swab and everything worked great! I'm very glad I found this and got two bottles for the price of previously bought elsewhere which as I said didn't work well.
