I have a 75G tank and it had a low wattage heater that fluctuated in temperature too much for my needs so I bought this. I like the digital external display and the ability to set the temperature and know the heater will hold it. It lets the temperature drop about 1 degree Fahrenheit below what you set, and then turns it on and heats it up to your desired temperature. It typically heats it up to about 0.5 degrees Fahrenheit above the set temperature before it starts to work, so the result on the graph is a series of ups and downs, but over a long enough period of time this isn't a problem for your aquarium dwellers. The included suction cups are terrible and as you have to hold them horizontally in the aquarium this is a problem. I had to upgrade the suction cups and put them on top of the heater and attach a string to the back of the tank to keep it from moving as well. Basically I am satisfied with the product.
