Review on Kota Japanese Marble Mortar and Pestle Grinder for Spices, Seasonings, Pastes, Pestos, and Guacamole by Holly Luna

The Kota Japan Mortar and Pestle is exactly what I wanted. This is a beautiful marble with a rougher interior surface for excellent polishing. I don't grind spices much, but when I do I need something that works. I had a tiny ceramic mortar and pestle that didn't even come close to working. I didn't need an oversized mortar and pestle either. Kota is the perfect size, just over 4 inches in diameter. I ground some rice as others have recommended to get rid of the marble dust residue and I had rice flour in seconds! Highly recommended for the amateur cook.
